Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy Program - Youth Programming

The Whitecaps FC Academy is a full-time, fully funded, player development program designed to maximize a player’s potential on and off the field through a “soccer lifestyle” philosophy linking technical and personal development.  By integrating training, education and accommodation, all conveniently situated in Burnaby, Whitecaps Academy provides the perfect conditions to develop and prepare elite athletes for the mental and physical demands of professional environments in North America and Europe. Vancouver Whitecaps Girls Elite REX Program in Partnership with BC Soccer (BC SUPER REX) - Youth Programming

As part of the Canada Soccer Pathway,  in January 2015 BC Soccer partnered with Whitecaps FC and Canada Soccer to provide the Women's Regional EXCEL Centre (REX) in Western Canada. The BC Super REX maintains a standardized national curriculum for female players U-13 to U-18, feeding into Canada Soccer’s Women’s National EXCEL Program. Canadian Premier League

The Canadian Premier League is a professional soccer league in Canada founded in 2017 and opened its first season in April 2019. At the top of the Canadian soccer league system, it is the country's primary national soccer league competition. The league consists of seven clubs/teams, from five of Canada's ten provinces. In British Columbia, Pacific FC based in Langford on Vancouver Island participates in the Canadian Premier League.
