The Canada Soccer Western Masters and Regional Women's Masters Kick off in Richmond British Columbia

Cheer on Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC and EDC FC Burnaby in the Women’s Regional Championships and Western Men’s Masters being held in Richmond, British Columbia

Vancouver BC , September 6,  2018 BC Soccer looks forward to the 2018 Canada Soccer Women's Regional and Western Men's Masters Championships being hosted in Richmond, British Columbia from Septemnber 20th to 23rd.  BC Soccer is proud to be represented by Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC in the Women’s competition and EDC FC Burnaby in the Men’s. “We are very excited to watch all of the teams compete at the Canada Soccer Women’s Regional and Western Men's Masters at Minoru Park in Richmond British Columbia,” said Ralph Luongo, BC Soccer Board of Director and Adult Competition Committee Chair. “There is sure to be great matches as some of the nation’s top over-35 women's and men’s teams will go head to head in the round robin tournaments.”

The tournament begins for the women on Thursday, September 20th with Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC taking on the top over-35 women's team from Saskatchewan at 5:00pm at the Minoru Oval. Quebec and Manitoba will also face off at the same time on Minoru #2. 

EDC FC Burnaby is also set to take on Saskatchewan's top team with the Men's tournament kicking off Friday, September 21st at Minoru Oval. Game time is 1:00pm. Next to them on Minoru #2, Alberta and Manitoba men's teams will also compete.

The tournaments are bound to showcase some of the best competition from the over-35 age categories as teams seek to become 2018 champions. Final matches for both the Women's Regional and Western Men's tournaments are to be held on Sunday, September 23rd at 10:00am and 12:00pm respectively.
