The 2018 Les Sinnott Memorial Boy's Provincial Cup Hosted by Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association

Top grassroots youth boys soccer teams from across the province will take to pitches in Burnaby to play for the BC Soccer Provincial Cup

Vancouver BC July 3, 2018 – Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association will play host to the Les Sinnott Memorial Boy’s Provincial Cup on July 5-8. Forty-six (46) under 13 to under 18 boys teams from throughout the province will arrive in Burnaby and take to the fields in hopes of being crowned BC Soccer Provincial Cup Champions.

Players, parents, coaches, and fans from Northern BC, Kootenays, Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland and the Thompson Okanagan will come together in Burnaby at Burnaby Lake West Sports Complex. BC Soccer would like to thank Burnaby Youth District Soccer Association for working with BC Soccer to bring the 2018 Les Sinnott Memorial B Cup to the hundreds of players from across the province. Without the hours of dedication from the volunteers and staff, events like this wouldn’t happen.

Les Sinnott was a BC Soccer Board Member, Canada Soccer Committee Member and dedicated many years to helping run the BC Soccer Boys Provincial B Cup. Upon his sudden passing in 2013, BC Soccer renamed this BC Soccer Championships the Les Sinnott Memorial Provincial Cup as a small thanks for all that he dedicated to the beautiful game in BC.

The Les Sinnott Memorial B is run in conjunction with two other youth provincial championships: BC Soccer Provincial A Cup which is being hosted by the Richmond Soccer Association and the BC Soccer Girls’ Provincial B Cup which is being hosted by Kamloops Youth Soccer Association.

BC Soccer is pleased to support all of the Provincial Cups and also announce an extended partnership with Soccer Express. For the first time there will be an online store at which players, coaches and families can purchase customized 2018 BC Soccer Provincial Cup gear.

Each provincial cup competition has its own specific online store which is now open. Items purchased online prior to the match will be ready for pick up at the event. Please be aware that there will be an onsite activation at which apparel can be purchased and pressed as well. Online stores will be open for a month after the event in the case people want to buy apparel and miss their chance before or at the event.
