Langley FC Proud Partner of Fraser Valley FC To Host The 2014 BC Soccer Provincial Premier Cup

The two day Provincial Premier Cup kicks off at McLeod Athletic Park  in Langley on June 28th

Vancouver BC, February, 2014 – In their inaugural season, Fraser Valley FC (FVFC) will host the 2014 Provincial Premier Cup at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley.  Top youth soccer clubs from the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) and across the province will kick off the Provincial Premier Cup on Saturday June 28th.

“We are extremely excited to be hosting the 2014 Provincial Premier Cup and we look forward to seeing some of the best youth soccer players in the province battle it out for a chance to go to the Canadian Soccer Club Nationals,” said Andrea Laycock, Chair Person, Fraser Valley FC. “We are looking forward to working with the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League and BC Soccer to host such a wonderful event in our inaugural season.”

The Provincial Premier Cup is a two day competition where the top youth soccer clubs within the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier league and within the province of British Columbia will compete to become Provincial Champions.  The winners of the U14, U16 and U18 age groups will also have the chance to go to the Canada Soccer Club Nationals.

“Hosting the Provincial Premier Cup at McLeod Athletic Park is the perfect way to bring awareness to the BCSPL’s newest club, Fraser Valley FC,” said Don Dancey, BC Soccer Chair of Youth Competitions Committee. “With the chance to compete at Nationals on the line, the quality of soccer played by these young players is incredible. We really look forward to working alongside Fraser Valley FC and the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League to make this an incredible event.”
