BC Soccer will host it’s third annual FREE Futsal Festival which will take place December 30 and January 2-3 at the University of Fraser Valley
Vancouver BC, October 22 – BC Soccer is happy to host its third annual BC Soccer Futsal Festival on December 30 and January 2-3. The free festival is open to U9 to U12 teams and will take place at the University of Fraser Valley’s main gymnasium, the Envision Athletic Centre. BC Soccer Grassroots futsal festivals create an educational environment that teach the fundamentals of how to play the game of futsal. The festival will be delivered in a station-based format and will be adapted for the game of futsal by the BC Soccer Grassroots Department.
“After two incredibly successful futsal festivals we are really looking forward to hosting another free festival in January of 2016,” said Andrew Haines, BC Soccer Grassroots Development Officer and Staff Coach. “This is a great way for kids to explore futsal in a fun and dynamic environment and we can’t thank the University of Fraser Valley women’s soccer team enough for all of the support and mentorship they offer during the event.”
