BC Soccer is accepting Scholarship Application 2014

Vancouver, BC:  BC Soccer is pleased to inform the wider soccer community that we are accepting applications for our Annual Scholarships Program.  The submission deadline date is March 31, 2014.

Every year, BC Soccer is proud to award scholarships to a number of worthy individuals proceeding on to post-secondary education.  Last year, 12 youth players, coaches and referees from member associations across the Province received scholarships at the Awards and Scholarships Celebration held at a Vancouver Whitecaps FC MLS game at BC Place.

BC Soccer is proud to not only be able to sponsor select scholarships but also to have a number of funding partners for the Scholarships Program, which include member organizations such as the South District Girls Soccer Association, Surrey Metro Soccer Association and the Pacific Coast Soccer League.  Beyond the member support of this program, BC Soccer is very pleased to have a large number of our association partners provide funding to specific scholarships.  These partners include Soccer Express, AllSport Insurance and Alexander Holburn Beaudin & Lang LLP.  All of our funding partners attend the Scholarship Celebration and present the scholarship to the deserving recipient.

Applications must be signed off by the appropriate Youth District Chairperson or Adult League President. The completed application can either be forwarded to BC Soccer by the Youth District/Adult League or the individual who is applying for the scholarship application.
