BC Soccer Announces the 2015-2016 Scholarship Recipients and Award Winners

BC Soccer Scholarships and Awards to be presented to recipients at the Awards and Scholarship Luncheon on June 11, 2016.

Vancouver, BC May 16, 2016 – BC Soccer is proud to announce the 2015-2016 Scholarship Recipients who will receive more than $20,000 in total scholarship funds; as well as, this year’s BC Soccer Award Winners who have been recognized for their contributions to the beautiful game in BC. Each of the recipients will be invited to the BC Soccer Awards and Scholarship Luncheon which will take place on June 11, 2016.

Scholarship Recipients

Of the 110 scholarship applications submitted, this year BC Soccer’s Awards and Scholarship Committee had the difficult task of selecting 17 recipients. While all applications demonstrated strong passion for the game, this year’s recipients’ tremendous dedication to the game shone through along with their commitment to their communities and studies.  For the complete Scholarship Winners Release please click HERE.

Award Winners

Selecting the BC Soccer Awards Winners for the 2015-2016 season also proved to be an incredibly tough challenge for the Awards and Scholarship Committee. With more than a 150,000 players, coaches, referees and volunteers involved in the game in BC there are numerous people worthy of such recognition; however, the committee were able to select individuals deserving of the awards for this year.
