2008-2009 CORE FUNDING & ATHLETE ASSISTANCE

2008-2009 / 2009-2010 / 2010-2011 GAMING FUNDING
A resounding thank you to the Government of British Columbia for the approval of a three year plan for BC Soccer to receive $250,000 annually to benefit community sports programming in the areas of player, coach and referee development. 2008-2009 NTC NATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE FUNDING
Every year the CSA Canadian Soccer Association allots $74k to BC Soccer for the operation of the NTC Centre West. The National Training Centre is a structured program for players identified through the scouting system. The goal is to produce international caliber players for the National Team’s Program. 2008-2009 SPORTSFUNDER LOTTERY MONEY
100% of SportsFunder proceeds go to support amateur sports in BC. BC Soccer is proud to receive $85k in lottery funding to help youth members travel to competitions and training camps in the province of BC and $6.6k in Team BC funding to help with our BC teams' training and preperation for Canada Summer Games in PEI in August of 2009

As a goalkeeper for Team Canada, Paul qualified for the 1985 FIFA World Youth Championship and the 1986 World Cup game against France.
