  PROVINCIAL COMPETITIONS OVERVIEW


The British Columbia Soccer Association is proud to run Provincial Club Championships for both Youth and Senior teams. These exciting competitions are held annually in various locations and are hosted by local soccer associations.

There are two divisions of competition for Youth:
1. Provincial Cup (A Cup)
2. BCSA Cup (B Cup).

Both divisions service both boys and girls from the under 13 age group to the under 18 age group.   The Champions in the Provincial Cup division in the under 14, under 16, under 18 categories qualify to compete at the National Club Championships organized by the Canadian Soccer Association.

There are five divisions of competition for Senior

1. Under 21 (age group)
2. Classics (Women over 35 age group)
3. Master (Men over 35 age group)
4. Senior A Cup (open age group)
5. Senior B Cup (open age group)

The Champions in the Senior A Cup divisions qualify to compte at the National Club Championships organized by the Canadian Soccer Association.
 
These prestigious competitions both provincially and nationally offer teams across British Columbia the opportunity to compete against other teams in their age group and ability category.

Provincial Championships Bid Applications
 
The British Columbia Soccer Association is currently accepting bids for the hosting of Provincial Championships in all categories for the next 5 years 2008 - 2012.
 
The goal of the British Columbia Soccer Association is to have the highest quality event possible for the teams involved, and also to provide an opportunity to promote soccer in local communities. Successful applicants will be selected based on their ability to achieve these goals.
 
The document below provides information regarding the bid process, the competitions for which bids can be submitted, roles and responsibilities chart, planning time lines, minimum hosting requirements, a sample hosting agreement, as well as a hosting application form.
 
British Columbia Soccer Association will accept bids from the following member organizations:
        Youth Districts
        Youth Clubs
        Senior Leagues
        Senior Clubs 
 
Application process:
After reviewing this document, interested bidders should complete the attached hosting application form and submit it, along with a letter of support from the Chair/President of the host organization, promotional material about the host city, and photographs of the proposed venues, to:
