Member Service Management System

What is the BC Soccer Member Service Management System?

The BC Soccer Member System is a soccer specific software solution that has numerous interconnected modules which enables BC Soccer and members to streamline best practices of administration by utilizing its functionality.

Currently BC Soccer has focused on implementing 3 modules, 1) CMS Web Gateway, 2) Player Registration and 3) Competitions Management. The functionality within these modules have been further designed / developed to reflect specific BC requirements.

Current System Modules

CMS Web Gateway
CMS stands for Content Management System. This is a specific website for each member organization, which, if desired, can be the official website for that organization. Further, it is the access point for all individuals to access the modules within the system (i.e. currently the Player Registration module and Competitions Module).

Player Registration Module
This is the module that provides functionality to conduct online registration. Further, it enables administrators to communicate with members and manage data, including team allocation.

Competition Management Module
This is the module that provides functionality to facilitate / manage / organize / operate league play, tournaments, single matches, cup play, etc., including scheduling, standings, field allocations, etc.

Why is BC Soccer implementing a Member Service Management System?

As an association we are continually looking to improve in all aspects, with the ultimate goal of providing further enhanced levels of service to our Membership. In aiming to achieve this goal, we, led by our board, have identified the need for our association to select and implement an appropriate Member Service Management System / database tool to advance the operation and process behind all activities administered by BC Soccer and member constituents.

We have identified the need to implement this type of system to further improve areas, such as, but not limited to:

  • Accuracy with overall member registration,
  • Competitions management (Provincial, Regional, & Club / Local Tournament),
  • Event management,
  • Player permits & transfers,
  • Discipline,
  • Risk Management,
  • Rules & Policy compliance control,
  • Financial Management,
  • Sanctioning (tournament & travel),
  • Overall Communication, etc.
We feel confident that once we have an all-encompassing and fully integrated Member Service Management System in place, we will be in a much better position to collectively provide the appropriate level of service to our game.
